Ryan has competed in many swim meets as a Masters swimmer, most recently including the 2024 Pan American Masters Games in Cleveland, Ohio, where he took home the bronze medal in the 100 Meter Freestyle. In September 2024, Ryan took his swimming knowledge to the next level by earning a Level One certification in Masters Swimming coaching and has been a Viking Masters swimming coach ever since. Ryan currently resides in downtown Cleveland and works remotely as the Director of Sales and Client Relations for Radio Resources, a Gen Media Partners company. Andrew Wolfgang | Assistant Coach

* USMS Level I Certified Coach

Andrew has been around the sport of swimming since starting as a young middle schooler.  He joined Viking Masters as a swimmer first and joined the coaching staff in August. Having a team like Viking Masters has helped him take his swims to the next level.   Andrew is looking forward to meeting each and every one of you, and helping you reach your goals! College introduced him to the world of endurance athletics where he started competing in Ironman Triathlons and Ultra-Marathons. Andrew moved into a coaching  role post college, coaching various club teams, high school teams, and everything in between. With the birth of his two amazing boys, Connor (9) and Cameron (4), Andrew's training has changed a bit, but he still finds time to compete, with the 70.3 distance  being his favorite!  Working as a fireman can also hinder some training due to the fatigue and stress of the job.  Andrew is a great example of how to balance family, work, and being an athlete!
